We are very excited to be exhibiting at the spectacular vintage wedding fair at the Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square, from the 23rd-24th March!! We’ll have some new designs on show, along with supplying some delicious, delightful and yummy treats for a very vintage tea party hosted by none other than Pearl and Godiva.
As well as dozens of other vintage and alternative style vendors there will a fashion show, live music and DIY demo’s as well as ‘The Man Crèche’ for reluctant grooms.
It’s not to be missed, what promises, to be an amazing weekend full of all things wedding and wonderful!
Make sure to pop by our stand and say Hello!

I took two classes in Barcelona with Lori Hutchison aka The Caketress. Having been an admirer of Lori’s work for some time, I decided to pack my bags and head to Barcelona to take in two master classes with Lori.
On Day One we created a three tier wedding cake. Lori encouraged creativity; so after demonstrating certain techniques, it was up to us to let our creativity flow. . Day Two involved a version of Lori’s diamond inspired cake which is based on a Jenny Packman dress. Again creativity was encouraged and I designed an Art Deco inspired design and a Tulle fabric design on the cake. .
Exploring Barcelona in the evening time was just so beautiful! The Architecture, the atmosphere and the lively markets were a great way to explore and unwind, not to mention the best Tapas bars and Rioja wine!
I wish I had more time to explore but I’m sure I’ll find another reason to visit again soon!
My little adventure was full of sweetness and inspiration, what more does a girl want?!
Much Love,

I decided to invest in my own little piece of cake heaven. My new studio offers me the space to design, create, and decorate. Designed with all my ‘cakey thoughts’, the studio allows me to work in my own custom-built space which makes it much easier to provide the high-end service my lovely clients deserve.
I draw inspiration from the worlds of fashion, art, and nature. I love browsing through fashion magazines and my colour mood boards are never too far away! My trusty sketch pad and pen are always close to hand too as I like to get my ideas down on paper as soon as possible. I provide sketch drawings for all wedding cake commissions.
Colour comes naturally to me. I am very passionate about the use of colour, not every wedding cake has to be iced white! It’s nice to offer something different, and with wedding trends changing so much there is more of a break away from tradition. Delicious, yummy, and delightful dessert tables are BIG this year!

It’s not all about design at Emily’s Pantry! We are also passionate about taste, and working on new flavour combinations is great fun too!

It was my passion for baking that led me into the world of cake decorating.
I decided to turn my dream into a reality and Emily’s Pantry was born.
It’s been a busy year for me, I invested in a number of courses to enhance my skill set, made and baked cakes for family and friends while steadily building up a client base that I now welcome back readily.
I took part in some craft fairs, where I met lovely and talented people and worked towards getting Emily’s Pantry out there.
I look back at how far I’ve come, all the lovely messages I get from my clients. Seeing their reactions, makes it all worthwhile, it really is as simple as that!
It’s a New Year, launching my website is extremely exciting. It’s an opportunity to showcase my designs and work from the last 6 months. I’d like to think that my creative flair has now taken a new direction and found a wonderful place in making and decorating cakes.
I finished 2012 working on some lovely collaborations that I hope will continue to flourish into 2013!
I hope you think so too.
